Linux newbie here.
Previously on Windows, I had an option in the Power Settings to set my CPU state. Once it was at 100% I had major issues(heating almost to the maximum of allowed temperature), but once it was switched to the 99% the issue was gone. (see image attached)
I have the same issue now with Linux.
I read a lot on this yesterday, but didn’t come to any conclusion what I need to do. I don’t won’t to play with my CPU’s frequencies or that some utility will “adjust” my CPU so it won’t overheat. I just want to permanently set the state to 99%.
Is that possible?
Please advise
