My SSD only show 2GiB after system crash

Hi everyone,

I am using EOS with KDE for almost a year now and was working fine until today. It started to be more buggy since the KDE 6 upgrade, but was still working.
But this morning, the system crashed completely (it was not responsive at all and the display was weird) and after a forced reboot I ended up on the minimal GRUB-menu that show after a very, very long time (even the Lenovo logo appears after a long time).
After several attemps I succedeed in booting on a live ISO of Endeavour in order to see what’s happening.
And I was really surprised to see on Gparted that my SSD was only 2GiB…
After some research on the internet, I saw that it may be either a dead SSD (but it is only a year old) or an incompatibility with the mothership card.

I don’t know what to do in order to solve this problem. Have you ever encountered this kind of problem ?

Edit : the first SSD contains partitions for windows and its data

Thanks !
Djr

A quick search shows this as common hardware failure with this particular drive.

It is possible your system crash was caused by the drive failing.
