My first (and only Apple) was an early 90’s model, the Mac LC if I remember. It was a wonderful device for its time, and had a simplicity that is sadly missing today. I still miss the version of Word that came with it, 5.1. For gui-based word processors, I think it was unrivaled. It was the only “off the shelf” PC I bought, every single one since then has been built from parts… they’re getting so much better these days that I’d easily see my only needing one build a decade…!
