Multiple Monitors on EndeavourOS

Hi Guys,

I’m new to EndeavourOS and, in fact, Linux in general having been a Windows user for well over forty years.

I’ve installed the OS on my laptop which is a Lenovo Z50-70 and is about 15 years old. It has an NVIDIA GF117M graphics chip in it and I am trying to use dual external monitors, so that’s the laptop display and two others altogether.

I can only get one to work no matter what I do. It’s connected to the onboard HDMI port. The other monitor is connected by a StarTech DisplayLink USB to HDMI converter.

Can anybody help me with this please??

Thank you in advance,

DocWhite

From [ 1] i gather that usb/hdmi is experimental.

I have no experience with this, but perhaps the link is useful for you

It worked for me back when I had a DisplayLink dock but it was quite heavy on the CPU.
