I am experiencing an issue with my external monitor when plugged into my laptop. When I first plug it in, it seems fine and I’m able to adjust the brightness of both my laptop and external monitor display. After I restart the laptop, however, I try to adjust the brightness of the external monitor with the slider, but the brightness doesn’t change. Instead, the monitor seems to restart, presenting the Samsung splash screen and then reconnecting. I had the same issue using HDMI as well as DisplayPort.
Not sure if this is an Endeavour issue or just Linux in general.
I have a Framework laptop with an Intel i5-1135G7 with integrated graphics. My monitor is a Samsung Odyssey G50D 27 inch (LS27DG500ENXZA).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
