Hello, I’ve recently started trying to set up an old computer I received from someone moving to use as a server. The specs of the computer are as follows:

I am having an issue with RAM, it is showing only 3.8GB of memory available. The KDE system menu shows
Memory: 8 GiB of RAM (3.8 GiB usable)
there is a message beside it saying
Some memory is reserved for use by the kernel or system hardware such as integrated graphics memory.
Which is fair, but 4.2GiB seems WAY to high.
As an additional note, I have an addition pair of 2GBx2 sticks (same make and model, just lower capacity) that I removed for the purposes of debugging, however when they were connected, I still saw ~4.2GiB unusable.
I’m not really sure what to do, I’m not seeing any issues in the places I would expect, the CPU doesn’t even have integrated graphics. I haven’t seen anything like this on my main Arch desktop. This is my first time with Endeavor (I normally use Arch, but “Arch with a real installer” sounded very nice), is this just expected? Is there some subsystem that Endeavor shipped I should disable?
