Medion MD 61900 and Kernel 6.2

Since Kernel 6.2 was released, my Netbook refuses to boot with the latest Kernel. Unluckily, there is no way to gather further information, except the info given on the boot screen. I can neither switch to a Terminal, nor establish a ssh session. The only way to share it, is by posting a photo, which I normally wouldn’t do. I have no idea how to hunt down the issue. Maybe someone already knows/read sth about known issues.

Specs of the mentioned Netbook

**Machine:** Type: Convertible System: MEDION product: E2228T MD61900
**CPU:** Topology: Quad Core model: Intel Atom x5-Z8350 bits: 64 type: MCP L2 cache: 1024 KiB
**Graphics:** Device-1: Intel Atom/Celeron/Pentium Processor x5-E8000/J3xxx/N3xxx Integrated Graphics driver: i915 v: kernel

**Network:** Device-1: Intel Wireless 3165 driver: iwlwifi

The number of the locked CPU changes/is not consistent.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts about it.

linux-lts works flawlessly.

Guess use the lts then? :man_shrugging:

hello to RLP/Palz :innocent:
probably your hardware doesn’t match up with the 6.2. kernel
so you may downgrade or use another one like e.g. lts
