Mate-terminal opens but there's no prompt to imput data

I did a fresh online install of MATE, using endeavouros-2021.04.17, and everything works fine except for mate-terminal. Mate-terminal opens but there’s no prompt to imput data. I have no issues with UXTerm or Xterm, I even have tilda and terminator installed, and they work fine as well.

Any ideas, would be greatly appreciated.
