Annnnnd… 350 packages now. Finally with the 6.18.4 kernel as well as the updated kitty package to make it work with python 3.14.2 (hopefully).
Too bad that I’m currently tinkering with an headless sbc via ssh which is running debian trixie currently, thus it may take a while until I’ll update.
All good here, no issues to report, just a very big and very boring update. Just the way I like it ![]()
Updating my second notebook right now, 258 updates ![]()
sighs looks like Flatpak upde command is now slow as hell and spitting out warnings for me now. Took a good half hour for all this to pop up in terminal for me
Seems to be the ONLY issue I have have the large spike in updates
For those reading the last few post there is still plenty still broken from the AUR due to this update regardless of claims otherwise.
All 3 notebooks in our household are fully updated. Not a single issue.
Ok my issue was solved by doing this once again
To reinstall all native packages, use:
and no it isn’t the first time and likely won’t be the last time I have had to run that to fix things after updating has broken things for me on this install
