Mageia 10 released

I used Mageia for a while back in my distro-hopping days. It was very good and I might have settled on it if distro-hopping wasn’t kind of my hobby back then.

One of my first distros was Mandrake, and it was glorious. Compiz, KDE, just an absolute joy to use..!

Edit: One of the absurdities of the 90’s was that it was actually cheaper to mail-order a Linux distro CD from a “Distro provider”, compared to the time it would take to download it, - being charged per minute for internet dialup in those days. Eventually Linux magazines got into the business and provided Linux distros on their “stuck on” CD/DVD on the front of the Magazine which was a treasure trove of software and other finds!

Mandrake was the first Linux distro that worked perfectly out-of-the-box for me :slightly_smiling_face:

Same for me as well.

Likewise. I ordered it and it arrived with a nice thick set of manuals. I only ran it for a few months though.
