Machine keeps showing this screen when I put it to sleep

Heya,

I’ve been having this problem since Day 1, but finally decided to ask here since I tried looking up the solution and came up with nothing (though it could entirely be that I just didn’t know what to look for):

Every single time my machine goes to sleep, and it doesn’t matter if I do it via KDE or simply letting it sleep on its own, it always wakes itself back up with this error message you see in the picture. It seems to be non-critical afaik since it goes away when I ‘wake’ it with no issues.

Running systemctl suspend didn’t do the trick either since it actually wakes up again after a few seconds of running the command.

P.S: to anyone wondering why the camera photo, it’s because hitting any key would ‘wake’ the PC from this state that shows the error message.

I found some postings that seems like some of the nvidia services aren’t running.

Assuming you have an nvidia card try this

• sudo systemctl enable nvidia-suspend.service

• sudo systemctl enable nvidia-hibernate.service

• sudo systemctl enable nvidia-resume.service

I tried running these commands since I do have an nvidia card. Didn’t seem to work though.

You should post some information about the system so people can have a better way to help you.
Here start with the current hardware ( boot to the live ISO if needed to get information)
inxi -Faz --no-host | eos-sendlog
post the url here

Alright, thanks for the tip!
