Where or what commands do I need to see if conflicts between software exist? I lost sound yesterday. My audio volume app is correctly set and at 100% and no sound. I’m using KDE plasma as a desktop. Pulse audio be an issue?

Try this then reboot:
mv .local/state/wireplumber .local/state/wireplumber-bkp
It renames the wireplumber/pipewire user settings folder. When you reboot, the folder is automatically recreated using the newest default settings. It may work.
If it works, you may have to set up your sound settings from scratch.
If it doesn’t work, then you can delete the newly created folder, and remove the “-bkp” from the older folder you had before.
mv .local/state/wireplumber-bkp .local/state/wireplumber
Systemctl restart --user pipewire.service ?
If this also resets the settings, then sure.
The suggestion I made is something I have to do for pretty much every other
Pipewire/Wireplumber update since Pipewire version 1.0.
So, whenever I saw that one of them had an update, I would just rename the folder before rebooting to avoid loading up with my microphone or noise cancellation not working.
Do you normally use the output HDMI Digital Stereo? Check the others in the drop down box.
Got it working with everybody’s help. HDMI is for the built in video monitor speakers. . . .
Rich;) thank you all for your help. . . .
