Long time no see

Hello to everyone, wherever in the world you are!

I’m an old Antergos user (yeah, that old…) who sadly due to life circumstances I was afk from the Linux Community for a very very long time..

Now that I’m finally back, and began searching for a new modern distribution it was a no brainer that I would go for the spiritual successor of Antergos.. So here I am..

I chose GNOME as my Desktop Environment, but in the installation process I unchecked a big number of packages, to have a minimal desktop. From this:

I now have my own customized GNOME:

Lastly I want to thank all the developers for the great effort they have put in EndeavourOS, and every member of the forum. The one consensus online is that, this forum is one of the friendliest in Linux and Tech Community.

Hi, @Ghost_X_Machina and welcome - I’m sure you’ll feel at home with EOS as you’ve used Antergos.

Have fun using the OS and the forum!

“I chose GNOME as my Desktop Environment,”

No, Gnome chose you  . Welcome back to Linux. How much did you forget? Doesn’t look like much, as that is a beautiful desktop.

I am guilty of stripping the sh*t of out of my installs (then incrementally bringing them all back in unbeknownst to myself)
