This behaviour started after the latest kernel upgrade.

Systemd-analyze shows powerdevil taking a while.

It suddenly appears to be fixed now? I booted my pc and the problem didn’t occur, there were some KDE updates afterwards including Powerdevil and after those updates the problem didn’t recur either.

Fixed I guess?

I don’t know what powerdevil is. If it’s part of the system/KDE DE, then yes, this happened to me as well and the fact that it took so long (opposed to normal times) to log in and show the desktop made me think it was due to the changes I had made in bios for hardware lol

But after that it was fine again

Powerdevil is the part of KDE Plasma responsible for power management and energy saving settings.

My systemd-analyze only showed Powerdevil taking a whopping 21.5 seconds to load on my NVME at start-up at that time, but it hasn’t happened again since then.
