Logitech M590 Bluetooth disconnecting all the time

I’ve been having issues with my Logitech M590 bluetooth mouse for a while where it would disconnect/connect randomly… sometimes as frequently as each minute.

Other bluetooth devices (keyboard/headphones) are fine but just the mouse seems to be problematic.

journalctl lists this but I haven’t seen any errors?

Could be the batteries included in the mouse.

Which leads me to think of, why it could be more sustainable using a USB mouse and keyboard, instead of using BT ones…

Look at the horrors involved.

I’ve put my “Magic Mouse and Keyboard” aside long time ago, and replaced them with USB ones, which are much cheaper, in comparison.

But, who cares! - Anyone?

I just changed the batteries let’s see how it goes  So far no disconnects but it’s only been 10 minutes.

I assumed it was something more as it was always reporting 100% battery + I have another mouse at work with the same issue… would be funny if it was as simple as the battery.

Thanks for the help so far!

2h later zero issues - how could it be as simple as that!

I once was an electrician. It’s as simple as solving a house call by resetting a breaker or simply plugging a device (back) into an electrical outlet. People are too lazy to think, sometimes. Panic mode sets in and brain activity shuts down.
