Localepurge, out of date?

Every time, for the last weeks, trying to update localepurge i got the same result …

[keos@keos-pc ~]$ yay -Syyu
[sudo] password for keos:

Thanks.

That means the AUR package has been marked out-of-date but the maintainer hasn’t updated it yet.

There is nothing wrong with your system or update process.

localepurge: (is marked out of date at AUR)

https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/localepurge/flag-comment/

stockfish-old: (missing on AUR not there anymore)
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/?O=0&K=stockfish

On AUR first thing to do is to go to the AUR PKGBUILD page and see what is commented there… Maintained only by users not by Archlinux itself.

Well, yes, i know it … but, they saying that there is a new version, localepurge 0.7.3.9, and when i was trying to install it, this is what happen:

[keos@keos-pc ~]$ yay -S localepurge 0.7.3.9
-> Could not find all required packages:
   0.7.3.9 (Target)
[keos@keos-pc ~]$

I don’t understand. Thanks.

That is totally not how yay works. You can’t just pass a version number like that.

AUR packages are maintained by a member of the community. The person who maintains that package hasn’t updated it.

You should look at the comments on the AUR page. It looks like it isn’t going to be updated.

Exactly what it says 0.7.3.9 can not be found its not yet updated on AUR, Which has nothing to do with Arch or EndeavourOS you have to be patient and wait till the maintainer updates it.
