can the new calendar implementation display google calendar? I assume I would have to use gnome online accounts…
Edit: installed and linked gnome account but no meetings show up in the calendar. Probably missing some other packages or only works on gnome.
I’m running Cinnamon desktop and it’s working. I also use Evolution as my e-mail/calendar client so, maybe that’s part of it. Also, this article has some good info on setting up Google Calendars in Evolution.
Me and my wife both use Google calendars to organize our daily schedule. Also, we share these calendars with each other, to see each other’s appointments. This way, we do not clash each other…

Do you have gnome-calendar installed and keyring or is that is unecessary ?
I think gnome-calendar is part of the overall Evolution bundle and gnome-keyring is what’s managing my email passwords.
It worked, I installed evolution
and also gnome-keyring
and now it works, everything integrated, also pops up in my systemtray
Haven’t used much evolution, have to check it further, normally use thunderbird.
Evolution has much improved since the early days. I really like it now. I’ve even got it tracking Facebook and Historical Fencing events (HEMAA)
