Librewolf: Smooth scrolling disabled doesn't disable anymore

Since the last update of Librewolf (from the AUR: aur/librewolf-bin), the option Edit → Settings → Browsing → Use smooth scrolling does not seem to prevent smooth scrolling anymore. Enabling and disabling it don’t seem to change anything.

I have on my laptop Firefox Official, where this does not seem to be the case.

Can anyone confirm the problem I am seeing? I just want to make sure this is not a problem on my end.

I can’t even see the difference in Firefox either. Fine tuning is in about:config
https://www.reddit.com/r/LibreWolf/comments/xmoarv/tips_for_librewolf/

Firefox: 132.0.2-1
LibreWolf: 132.0.1-1

Then the problem might not actually be one of Librewolf. I thought I had the same Firefox version tested. Let me check:

Firefox: 132.0.1
Librewolf: 132.0.1-1

Hm.

Edit: Updated my laptop to Firefox 132.0.2, cannot reproduce the issue there.

I’m not seeing that. I’m using Librewolf: 132.0.1-1. I have smooth scrolling enabled. I went to settings and disabled it. Worked just as expected. A vast difference when enabled vs disabled.

Thanks for the video. I absolutely do not get how this can be different for me and you. You do have the exact same version as me? Updated 13.11.2024?

Edit: It shouldn’t make a difference, but as smooth is graphics card supported scrolling, what card do you use?

I don’t have any idea when the update occurred…

Intel, integrated…
