Libre office print can not uncollate

hi guys.

I have sent this bug to https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/ since yesterday but i have not gotten response yet. Just wondering if anyone here had the same problem and solved it.

I can not uncheck collate option in print dialog in libre office, collate option is greyed out. I know it is not printer problem because I can check or uncheck collate when printing in other app e.g. Okular. Checking other option does not solve the problem. I don’t know since when this problem occured because I rarely need to tinker with collate option, but I can uncheck it before.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks beforehand.

Version 25.8.6-2 is still (!) OK. 26.2.3-5 collate does not work.

A stop gap solution would be to print from Libre Office to a pdf. Then print the pdf to your printer within Okular. Just tried and it works around the glitch of not being able to select collate printing option - which can be controlled within Okular. :vulcan_salute:

Yes, I did that too.

Another stop gap solution I tried successfully is tinkering in Tools → Options → LibreOffice → Advanced → Open Expert Configuration.

choose org.openoffice.VCL → VCLLSettings change PrintDialog property collate to false and click OK.

But that is a hassle :smiley: . Maybe I’ll stick with Okular solution for now. Thanks for your help. I’ll mark this as solution for now.
