Last night one of my teeth started aching most terribly, so now my drink is some granulated painkiller dissolved in water. I also drank quite a bit of vodka to get some sleep, probably a bad idea to mix the two, but the pain is intolerable…

Maybe you should stub your little toe on the table leg. That will surely relieve the toothache

At least your tooth wouldn’t hurt nearly as bad as full fledged organ failure.
I think it would hurt more, because the nerve is really sensitive to cold.

Was cleaning out my old condo unit so my old buddy can rent it from me. Discovered I had an old bottle of Green under the kitchen sink, and an old cigar still wrapped, tucked in a cupboard. Thankfully my country is humid enough that the cigar kept. Took a break from cleaning and had a sip. Had to buy a glass at the convenience store below though.
Edit: ended up polishing off that bottle and took a nap
