Let's have a drink together! What's in your glass today?

You can also use it to put out the fire! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

You. . .I don’t even know how to comprehend what you’re suggesting.

Do you breathe oxygen? Are you even human or are you literally archlinux?

I’m the OP. . . I’m like Bender. Hilarious, self centered, and fueled on booze and terminal code.

Who are you?

It’s Midsummer Eve and we Finns used to celebrate it with lots of alcohol. But to me and my girlfriend the quality is more important than amount. So we prefer champagne instead…:sunglasses:

And then, as you get older, you realise that being “adult” is a complete myth invented by governments and corporations who wish to control you for their own desires and financial gain. As a British person where we grow very good apples I have realised we can produce them to make good apple juice (healthy) or we can ferment them to make cider and get wrecked. Our choice! :wink:

My Grandpa turned 100 this year, and he still says mentally he still feels 18

That probably is a large part of why he made 100!

Any wine enthusiastics here?
I’m a big fan of spanish wines. I like the label and the wine is not bad either…:wink:

When it comes to wine, I like most of it, but my favourite is the homemade white wine from northern Italian countryside (rural Emilia-Romagna, for example). Fairly cheap, light wine with low alcohol content, and absolutely no fanciness. Yet, I adore it… It’s easy to drink in fairly large amounts, it has very little dryness and no excessive sweetness, and it quenches the thirst excellently.

Give me an ice-cold bottle of such wine and a big plate of spaghetti aglio e olio, and I will be perfectly content.

Time to bump. It’s going on a year and a half since I first posted this up. I’m having another delicious peanut butter stout and wanted to invite the many many newcomers to the table.

As I turn on some football, I raise a glass.

Cheers

Is that real football (soccer) or your excuse for it? :stuck_out_tongue:

Also peanut butter and milk have no place in proper booze. Honestly, humanity is rapidly losing the plot, what with “craft” beers and “hipster” s***. At this rate we are all doomed!

Football on the left coast. :rofl:

That’s not Football, it’s a lame game for obese people wearing silly costumes. Pah! :wink:

Sure is!

@kmartin knows best.

You seem rather tense. Might I suggest a crafty hipster beer to relax? . . . Whatever you’ve got going on doesn’t seem to be working so well.

Yeah it’s probably just a reaction to our failed COP thing recently. However milk & peanut butter? C’mon! I’m drinking cider 8.2% and very traditional, not at all crafty although it is very pure in it’s contents, no chemicals etc. So, cheers!

However, football? Dream on! :rofl:

I can see an argument for Rugby, but soccer? That’s Foosball with people, albeit supper athletes!

Don’t mean nothing…

Clearly you have never meet one, and would not repeat that if you had. :wink:

@fbodymechanic
I like my peanuts and beer separate thank you.
