HP and Microsoft put together loaded WIN XP 2005 Media center edition which is having a chronic build issue. ngen.exe missing error when we try to repair OS. We can only reinstall OS. Repair not possible.That too they loaded 32 bit OS on 64 bit AMD processor.
Linux variants and Sun Solaris had 64 bit OS released by then(2005). Open Solaris was also a 64bit version.
This laptop does not support USB Boot.
We tried using USB external DVD drive .
Since those guys know system programming, they have been able to halt boot of Endeavour OS and other arch linux light versions including lightest bodhi linux.
could we stay on topic here … i do even not really understand the context.
You can open a new thread and startbover if you have an issue but iof you post here alot users got the notification and see your unrtelated posts thinking somone added info to the topic.
