Since I’m writing this from another PC what would you need on my end to diagnose this issue? Should i just chroot into the system and try updating it that way.?
I’m doing this so it might help someone else…

Check out the solution in this thread if you have the same problem. Otherwise, error messages would be very helpful.
The following commands from Fernado in the above link fixed the problem.
sudo pacman -Sw ca-certificates-utils
sudo pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/ca-certificates-utils-20210603-1-any.pkg.tar.xz
sudo pacman -Syu
