Large EFI Partition Size

So, on the Efi fails to mount after upgrade thread, @dalto mentioned…

I didn’t want to hijack that thread, so I’ll ask here. I have three kernels installed (default, LTS and ZEN) and use Nvidia drivers. Is this normal?

/efi raw-size: 2 GiB size: 2 GiB (99.80%) used: 735 MiB (36.0%)

I have no intention of installing any other kernels. Am I in danger of it growing beyond its limits? Or is the used amount of space static?

Yeah, that looks pretty normal. The nvidia drivers add 50-100MB per initrd. You have 3 kernels which means 6 initrds.

It isn’t perfectly static but you are not in any danger. It is unlikely to fluctuate by more than 10% or so.

Right, should be good for years to come unless something unforeseen happens :0
