Language Translation Sites/Apps/Extensions

So between the EndeavourOS forums, and other forums and groups I frequent, I’m finding more content and interactions available through translating. And it’s opened up the web for me lately. I’m finding DeepL to be the best, so far. Though full webpage translation is behind a paywall. For full webpage translation, I’m using the TWP Firefox extension. A close second is LibreTranslate followed by Google Translate.

I’ve got a specific bookmarks folder in Firefox dedicated to translation now…

Thanks to @Tux71 for the DeepL recommendation and to @swh for LibreTranslate. I wasn’t aware of either.

What to you all use for translation?

1500 characters are free. You always have to delete the upper part after 1500

Thanks for the clarification on the number of characters. Seems fine for simple forum or social media conversation, though.

You’re welcome. I usually use Firefox’s translate for full webpage translation

They all seem to translate well, with small variations. German speakers, which seems most accurate?

Deepl, lingva and libre translate makes no difference.

Google got an error at it's simply the best

It is = es ist = männlich/ masculine

Einfach die Beste = weiblich/feminine

I’m using DeepL only. It’s enough for all that I need. Often I try to translate for myself, but I know that I’m not the perfect English speaker, but I think everyone is able to read and understand my sentences.

PS: Didn’t use a translator for my post.
