I’ve been noticing this warning/error after a recent update. Now everything I run pacman -Syu I get a lot of these warnings:

EDIT: at the same time I started noticing Aislesriot Solitare stopped running with a LANG problem.

Also, what DE are you using?

Let me update one of my KDE VMs and see if anything is broken with recent updates.
It’s done that to me in the past, months ago, too.
Good thing: Fallback locale.

No, all my KDE machines have a normal settings there or it is unset:

Change the setting for Time to be en_US.UTF-8.
Then logout and back in to see if it fixes anything or not.

latest pacman update was fine and no LANG warnings.

If you did as suggested…
then this was what fixed it, explicitly setting the malformed setting (“Default” locale value is not existent).recent fix merged , but I don’t know if it’s in the repo packages yet.
