Hello all, I searched around and couldn’t find exactly my issue, so I apologize if I missed it.
I recently hooked up some new hardware. I bought this KVM

And I’m using it with this monitor:
When I boot the machine, it goes through booting and hangs at “target basic system” forever. I actually ran it over night and it stayed there all night.
I was able to isolate this issue to specifically the combination of these two devices. If I plug directly into the monitor, it boots just fine. If I plug into the KVM and into a different monitor, it also works fine. It doesn’t seem related to anything else. I was suspecting the fact that this monitor is also a USB hub could be a cause of it, but when I detach all USB stuff from it, I still get this issue.
I’m able to work around this by turning my KVM off, booting, waiting a minute or so, then starting the KVM and everything works.
I’m not sure what would be the next steps here. Is this even something I can fix here?
