Try:

pacman -Ql kquickimageeditor

After reinstalling it. Then look for the line:

kquickimageeditor /usr/bin/name-of-binary-file
[uwe@HAL ~]$ pacman -Ql kquickimageeditor
kquickimageeditor /usr/

Command not found.

Lol. No, I meant that the name of the binary file (meaning the actual name of the program in your system) should be found there.

But it looks like a binary file was not created? That is weird. I will install it here to test. A moment please.

This is not an application per se with a GUI and binary to be run.

It is a component that can be required by other applications.

I see now. This package is more like a library. It is not a binary, but rather it gives other apps additional functionality. So in order to use it, you’d install koko, neochat or skanpage.

Thank you, now I understand.
