Korean input method in Plasma 6 issues

Hi,

I am struggling to get Korean input to work.
In Plasma I can select a different keyboard layout, switching to a Korean keyboard. But it also only types Latin letters.

As far as I understand I need to install fcitx5 as an input method and I followed this instruction: https://forum.manjaro.org/t/guide-how-to-set-up-korean-keyboard-on-manjaro-kde/23799

But its not working and I got following message in Plasma:

Fcitx should be launched by KWin under KDE Wayland in order to use Wayland input method frontend. This can improve the experience when using Fcitx on Wayland. To configure this, you need to go to "System Settings" -> "Virtual keyboard" and select "Fcitx 5" from it. You may also need to disable tools that launches input method, such as imsettings on Fedora, or im-config on Debian/Ubuntu. For more details see https://fcitx-im.org/wiki/Using_Fcitx_5_on_Wayland#KDE_Plasma

Does someone have experience or is there a more recent how to?

I have no experience with fcitx, but perhaps this gives some relevant info?

Though the last one is about X11.
