Kleines Problem mit yay

Hallo zusammen, ich wollte timeshift mittels yay installieren.
“yay -S timeshift”
Dabei kommt diese Meldung: “-> database already registered”

Kann mir jemand von euch helfen ?

Hi,

kannst du mal die genaue Meldung posten? Also am Besten deine Eingabe + die gesamte Ausgabe hier mal darlegen.

Edit: Und willkommen auf der lilanen Seite!

yay -S timeshift
→ database already registered

Wow, das ist ja extrem komisch. Bei mir sieht das beispielsweise so aus:

[dromundkaas@Pure ~]$ yay -S timeshift
AUR Explicit (1): timeshift-23.06.2-1
Sync Make Dependency (3): help2man-1.49.3-1, meson-1.1.1-1, vala-0.56.8-1
Sync Check Dependency (1): appstream-glib-0.8.2-2
:: PKGBUILD ist auf dem neuesten Stand, überspringe Herunterladen: timeshift
  1 timeshift                        (Build-Dateien sind vorhanden)
==> Pakete für neuen Build?
==> [N] Keine [A]lle [Ab]brechen [I]nstalliert [No]nicht installiert oder (1 2 3, 1-3, ^4)

Wenn da bei dir nur so wenig Text kommt, sieht das wie irgendein Fehler aus. Sicher, das nicht mehr ausgegeben wird?

Hi und herzlich Willkommen im :enos: - Forum!

So sollte es eigentlich aussehen

swh on Endeavour OS ~ 18:51:32
➜ yay -S timeshift

Oh @DromundKaas war schneller :wink:

Do you have a repo listed twice in /etc/pacman.conf?
