Kernel update causes grub to hang at UEFI logo

In order to restore your Grub, chroot into your system and do as described in the following post:

Duplicate entries in GRUB

Restore your Grub: sudo mv /etc/grub.d /etc/grub.d.old sudo pacman -S grub sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
