Kernel Panic after attempting to install Steam

Hello.
Earlier today, I installed blockbench from AUR, and attempted to install Steam from the Endeavour repo. The latter installation failed, and when I tried opening Firefox it wouldn’t launch. I then decided to restart the laptop, which is when I was presented with the kernel panic info visible on the picture. The system turned off at some point, and started rebooting. It got stuck at “Switching to root” or something like that, I do not remember exactly what it said.

I’m sorry for linking the information as a picture, but that’s the only option I have

What do you mean by this? What exactly failed? What specific error message did you receive?

It looked it crashed in the process of shutting down. Does the system boot now if you power it off and on?

I don’t remember the exact message, and can’t check it not obviously, but it went something like “Command couldn’t be found”

When I boot it up now, it gets stuck at “Starting Switch Root…”

Hi. Unfortunately, due to some time concerns, I had to reinstall the whole system, so I solved the problem this way.

Yeah, but were you able to install steam after reinstalling?
