Kept seeing message, grub2-theme-endeavouros not in the AUR every time that I did an update with paru, so I deleted it, now I have some small problems.

When I reboot, it acts lost, hangs for a few seconds, cycles, then shows some kind of a recovery screen, then finally boots.

I thought this file was an artifact of the recent grub changes and maybe not needed. As a theme, I thought it was a graphic or something since it said ‘theme’, but it obviously had some other purpose.

How do I repair this? Run grub as a command? My machine is an old I7-4770 and the bios has legacy mode, so I don’t have to deal with UEFI.

I assume you uninstalled grub2-theme-endeavouros using pacman or paru right? if so In /etc/default/grub comment out GRUB_THEME= and after that run

sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg

Worked great, used nano to comment out the theme and ran the command.
