Thanks for the heads-up! Just updated to Plasma 6.1.4. without issue. I’m sure Frameworks 6.5.0. will update just as smoothly.
I hadn’t received the Plasma update 6.1.4 so I updated the arch mirrors and lo and behold i got it now.
Edit: Obviously no issues either!
As smooth as ever. Constantly in awe of how Plasma’s gone from strength to strength with both its functionality and quality. It’s much, much less buggy than it used to be!
It’s in the Testing repo as of 13 Aug so it shouldn’t be much longer now until it reaches Stable.
Fedora 40 already has Frameworks 6.5.0
I guess they don’t test it long or got it earlier.
Or didn’t test and went what the heck lets just see
Just got it!
Just updated. Smooth, no issues.
linux 6.10.5.arch1-1 with plasma 6.1.4-1 is awesome.
Video quality is astonishing at 240p as well. . Current KDE Plasma is good too. I was using xfce desktop (EndeavourOS audio and video quality has been remarkable since last 3 years) earlier when it was default. @Bryanpwo and his team dedication paid off. Still a long way to go. systemd and GIT are a kind of private now. Not open like they used to be.Why not make it systemd free and bot free?
Why arch linux dropped Opera browser from its extra repositories? At least endeavourOS should include in their repositories. AUR package is not as good as OS package. Redhat open source packages in security should be made default. Not just firewalld. apparmor is a kind of shaky.
As flawless as ever. Plasma goes from strength to strength!
KDE has now released KDE Frameworks 6.6.0
Another smooth update. I’ve been in the middle of some house renovations, so haven’t had a chance to update recently. Booted up and kicked in the update, flawless. EOS wins every time, - looking forward to getting Plasma set up on a new laptop, - the last time I used Linux on a mobile device was circa 2008 on an old HP device. Things are way easier now thankfully!
Just got it too!
