KDE settings open scaled up for a split second

Hey!

Could someone please give a hint as to why this might be happening or where to look for a solution? I don’t even know how to Google for this kind of problem.

When I open the KDE settings, the window is scaled very large for a split second, then it goes back to normal.

I’ve attached a video for easier understanding.

Thank you!

I never use that right-click option on the desktop. But I just tried it and I get the same thing.

When I open the KDE settings from the menu, it does not happen.

I just tried and can confirm this, however if you open display configuration from the menu it does do it.

Same for me on both :enos: and Fedora KDE (both have Plasma 6.2.5).

If anyone fancies making a bug report, this is the place - https://bugs.kde.org

Is it a “feature”? Is it a desktop effect?

Can confirm. Same here on Plasma 6.2.5. Do it like @r0ckhopper said and make a bug report

Doesn’t happen to me on 6.3 beta. May already be fixed in the next release.

Hopefully your bug report will be unnecessary.

I went ahead and corrected the product information in your bug report. I don’t remember which kcm display is, so they will still probably end up changing that themselves.

@azdanov On your bug report. One of the developers needs to know if it is on x11 or wayland because they can’t reproduce on wayland. I’m also on wayland but 6.3 beta and could not reproduce. I thought that was because of the newer version and didn’t think to ask everyone who replied to this thread.
