Plasma 6 has arrived. 156 packages to update. I am afraid to run sudo pacman-Syyu.
Has anyone updated already?

Yep, just now, all good here.
I just upgraded and rebooted and everything is working OK so far. The only issue is that I have to install the Wayland version of Espanso (apparently itās different?) and the colour of my KDE panels has changed a bit.
Edit: moving windows around the desktop is noticeably smoother on Wayland, without the subtle stuttering of X11. It also fixed an annoying issue where my external monitorās resolution kept resetting to 1080p. Video playback is smoother too. I should have switched to Wayland sooner!
No problems with applets or tray icons?

I ditched a few before updating. Appmenu gtk, Ditto menu, window buttons.
No, but I use only those that ship with KDE.
There is also rofi-lbonn for wayland.

Is it still recommended not to run Plasma and XFCE on the same system? I was thinking about installing Plasma onto my main system for a long-term play with itā¦
Update worked nicely 
Only a small issue, after update via yay, the reboot button in the menu didnāt work.
Had to go to the terminal and reboot with sudo reboot

And syncthing tray plasmoid dosenāt work anymore. Waiting for its update
Just updated EOS running as a guest in virtualbox rebooted to a black screen.Seems latest plasma has option to log in with wayland or xorg and I forgot wayland does not work in virtualbox.Rebooted chose xorg and all is well.Also forgot to reset themes and icons back to default but Gently theme and McMojave icons work as well on plasma 6.

I did update, after reboot wayland session doesnt want to start ( kinda short restart on sddm happen) and X11 just freezeā¦what to do ?
Hi, thanks for the tip. I saw it already, but decided to go with wofi, because I install from AUR only when absolutely necessary or if its a real convenience.
Update worked more or less. Most SDDM themes broken, some applets gone, it takes considerably longer to show the desktop after logging in. Quite unhappy camper here.

Hey, Iām just curious if you had to do anything special to get Sunshine to work? I got Plasma 6 installed on VM and when Sunshine starts it doesnāt find any encoders and throws quite a few other errors. I posted on their Discord, but havenāt heard anything back yet.
It will be sorted soon i guess. Plasma 6 just arrived, and we are on wayland now, it was to be expected to have some small niggles here and there.
