Running fine so far but not a lot tested yet.
Seems fine here as well. The only issue I had with the desktop seems to have been resolved. Smooth as butter.
Nice. Seems baloo issue is gone

Yep it’s fixed
Is 6.8.1-2 already out yet ? ![]()
Did you not get it ? already installed here.
The meaning of it: Is the patch of the patch … or … the second fix out?
More or less, the point is essentially that 6.8.1 isn’t a major update, only a minor one that includes some new features besides the bugfixes. And eventually some decade old improvements / suggestions from the community.
@MichelN No, I did not. It’s referring to the fact that for each version bump there is a new independent thread within the forum. And there are some users that don’t use Plasma at all (anymore), including me.

Seems to work fine here. I have activated it yesterday after seeing your message and been running it since. I don’t see any difference at the moment.
I’ve noticed few minor differences. I’ll create a new post about it later.
Edit:
Apart from few minor changes, the obvious one is the top and bottom margin / padding on the grid. Since this is still at a beta stage, they might update it. Overall I like it especially when switching color scheme (day / night).
