At least you can turn it back on.
Not sure if this is caused by a newer Qt version or something else, but tile shift + drag-and-drop seems to be broken. The drop area is showing as a white box instead of black when using the dark theme.
Anyone else facing the same cosmetic issue?
Edit:
Sorry @MyNameIsRichard , I clicked the wrong reply button.
@dirn Same here. Have a white drop area. Same when I go fullscreen with left button to top. Seems white now instead of dark blur
Hmm, thatâs weird. Which Application Style do you use ?
Standard Breeze. Issue only happen recently from latest update.
Ok , i guess your back on 6.23 then. That was a logical error on my part
From my last week backup:
Plasma 6.6.2
KDE Framework 6.24.0
Qt version 6.10.2
Ok this is my actual setup
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.24.0
Qt Version: 6.11.0
Definitely a qt-thing
Functionality wise itâs working fine. Only cosmetic that triggered one OCD ![]()
Yeah, thatâs well known ![]()
But I have to admit, it is a bit disturbing ![]()
I might never have noticed that if you hadnât pointed it out to us.
It seems to be fixed in 6.6.4
Fixed an issue uncovered by the upgrade to Qt 6.11 that applied the wrong color to the window snapping overlay. (Nicolas Fella, KDE Bugzilla #518178)
It triggered the OCD ![]()

Stop fidgeting! ![]()
