Who doesn’t like empty space?

Seeing more information is generally bad. The old layout also had this visual rhythm with items of a group being closer together and making the cluster easily identifiable instead of making the user read. And then, most importantly, the Dolphin status bar is hidden by default nowadays, because one of the very, very brilliant justifications was that information like free space it is also glance-able in the sidebar - so let’s make sure that information is pushed off screen as much as possible.

PS: Changes like these triggers the living hell out of me.
