It appears the Nvidia team has confirmed (happens to me) that there is an issue with KDE being sluggish, borders not updating, random black patches, login screen not loading, coming out of suspend.
It is identified thus far with Nvidia 450 drivers and the latest 5.7 kernel. Just a heads up if you experience this issue.
