Just FYI - lack of Archlinux ARM updates

I noticed that there have not been any updates on Archlinux ARM for several days. I did some research and found this thread on the Archlinux ARM forum.

https://archlinuxarm.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=16236

As in the title, just a FYI.

Thanks to Archlinux ARM for their hard work in making this upgrade to their packages system.

I just updated my EnOS RPi 4 development machine with Plasma. 288 updated packages.

Update went smooth with no problems.

I also made a donation to Arch Linux ARM to help keep things going.

The mirrors may not all be synced yet. I had to change mirrorlist and comment out the first uncommented mirror and try another one. Then it completed successfully.

Some packages exploded in size leading to 450 MB more space:

extra/qt6-webengine 6.4.0-5 6.4.1-1 183.32 MiB 55.50 MiB
extra/suitesparse 5.13.0-1 6.0.1-1 142.47 MiB 18.26 MiB
core/linux-firmware 20220913.f09bebf-1 20221109.60310c2-1 53.70 MiB 81.13 MiB

Just these three packages are adding around 400 MB in installed size.

300 packages on RPI for me
Odroid next
492 on Odroid :grimacing:
