Joining the purple side

The responses to my previous post demonstrated what a lively and helpful forum this is. And my evaluation of EndeavourOS has confirmed that the feeling I had was real; like several of you said, “I feel like I’m home.”

I’ve converted my former Chromebook and its working great there. I’m now in the process of making it the daily driver on my desktop. In between my travels this summer (I’m a long distance motorcyclist), I’ll convert my other systems to using EndeavourOS.

My thanks to the team who put this together and the friendliness of the community members. I even signed up as a backing contributor. I guess I’m all in!

Welcome to the EndeavourOS forum. I hope you enjoy your time here.

Pudge

that’s the part I thank the most as well.
and all the others here who bail me out of jams.
glad it’s working out for you :purple_circle: !

:waving_hand: Welcome aboard & enjoy the ride, pretty confident you will love it :enos_flag:

Your forthright gratitude is endearing, btw, & a pretty strong indicator of your character.

Welcome! :enos_flag: :waving_hand:

It is always nice that new people find this wonderful OS and community. :enos:

Hope you like it here!

Welcome to the community, which is truly one of the best!

Welcome @IronRod ! You made a good choice!

Hi @IronRod and welcome to the :enos:-Forum!

PurplePerfect!

Welcome purple friend ~ Everyone on here is REALLY nice & helpful.

PURPLE BLESSINGS

enjoy the purple ride

That sounds interesting. As a way to spend your vacation? Get on your bike and take a road trip? Camp? Stay in a nice hotel? That sounds cool

@chriscomputing I ride about 10-12K miles a year, making multiple trips of 1-2 weeks at a time through spring/summer/fall. Been riding for 30+ years but long rides only since 2014. I enjoy being on the road, seeing new things, some amazing sights.

ah that kind of gratitude .. i do like it.. this one is very funky ..

Picks me up when I’m feeling defeated, keeps me humble when things are swell.
