I realy liked the fact that you can install it simply with pip locally and with so few dependencies needed. Yes, I try to avoid AUR everywhere if it’s possible, because I see it as a quite helpful but giant security Hole.
Also in compare to the optimus manager/optimus manager qt, in the integrated mod, discrete GPU isn’t just blocked, but entirely disabled so it’s not consuming any power.
Sure, you need to reboot instead of relogin, but reboot with both sata and m2 ssds takes so short time, that the difference of a few seconds, at least for me doesn’t matter.
This GUI should be perfectly compatible with EndeavourOS and KDE Plasma and it’s system tray. Didn’t tested on GNOME, though it’s already has a GUI for it -
