Hello, this happened to me and so I did this:
and now when I boot, it is fine until grub boot but after that my laptop screen goes black and blank while the external monitor works.
also when I reboot sometimes, laptop screen would work.
moreover, I usually have thunderbolt dock connected to the laptop and (which connects the external monitor that works) but the USB ports on the thunderbolt dock wouldn’t work - but the other usb port on the laptop works.
If anyone can help me that would be great.
I am using Lenovo Thinkpad X13 gen2 AMD if that helps anyone.
