Issue with boot order after switching to systemd-boot

yesterday i see this one:
windows-uefi
So UEFI only for windows and other obscure OS use this secret mode … calling something that may put cryptic error messages on the screen and freezes ?

No problem. I broke this out of the tutorial into it’s own topic since it ended up being a lot of posts.

That is in a lot of UEFI Bios now so pretty standard.

By the way, can the eos-systemd-boot package be removed after installing systemd-boot successfully, or do you have to keep it?

You should keep it. It is what keeps everything working with kernel-install.

If the warnings you get when updating it bother you, you can just add it to ignorepkg in pacman.conf

Thanks for the info. By the way, is it a good idea to move the eos-systemd-boot folder somewhere else, or will it break some directory stuff?

If you mean the folder where you ran makepkg from to build the package, you can delete it.
