Is there any good (looking) Chess for Linux?

I’m looking for a Chess client that supports XBoard and UCI protocols, preferably one with a 3D board. Couldn’t find anything so far. Everything seems to be 2D only.

Oh, and BTW, I installed KNights for now. It comes with an engine preinstalled (GNUChess IIRC) and it allows to use other engines also (I tried and installed stockfish) but I just can’t find any option to adjust the difficulty for any engine?

Maybe you are able to find one on this page.
There are some good Chess programs around.

Here’s some reviews:

A quick web search looks like most people recommend Scid vs PC with stockfish for offline chess.

Scid is indeed a very good Chess program. One of its strengths lies in the analysis capabilities.

Oh, and sorry I missed that you’re looking for 3D chess lol
Maybe one of these?
Dreamchess: https://www.dreamchess.org/
Brutalchess: https://sourceforge.net/projects/brutalchess/
Or buy one like Ultrachess on Steam? Protondb lists a couple that are native if you don’t want to try mess with proton

Another option would be to register at one of the big chess sites, if you’re into Chess for more than an occasional game. Those have decent graphics, a lot of statistics and a ton of other features.
