Iriun webcam problem

So i installed iriun webcam, connected my phone to the internet that my pc is also connected to, but it just wont connect. I looked for other topics for this issue, but nobody made one. I’m looking if people had this same issue and resolved it, please help.

Most people’s routers have 2.4 and 5.0 GHz connections for WiFi. Are you using WiFi or a direct cable connection for your computer/laptop?

Next thing is firewalls and VPNs: If you are using either one, they may interfere with Iriun or straight up block it. A VPN would possibly present as a different internet connection, so you’d have to turn that off or try to have the same exact VPN connection on both devices.

Lastly, I just tried to run it on my device, but it would not even open, and I got the following error when checking from a terminal.

iriunwebcam: error while loading shared libraries: libusbmuxd-2.0.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Does the app actually launch on your computer, but fail to connect?
Or does it not launch at all?

I use WiFi, and somebody solved that iriun webcam wasnt launching so maybe that will be fixed , but iriun webcam didint work before. I just need it for the mic part, By the way, the command to fix it is this:

sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libusbmuxd-2.0.so.7 /usr/lib/libusbmuxd-2.0.so.6

Turning off the firewall does indeed work, but i thought the microphone would work in it, because my microphone right now sucks alot and i wanted a alternative option till i get a new one.

Thanks alot though!
