Internet via USB Tethering stops working after update

After updating (paru -Syu) today my internet (connected via usb using usb tethering) stopped working.

I did see a couple other posts of around 2020 having a similar issue, but this is Arch so not sure if it’s still relevant 5 years later as they were talking about kernel issues of back then I think

It may be related to the firmware updating?

core/linux-api-headers 6.13-1 6.14-1 0.02 MiB

I also get this message

warning: dependency cycle detected:
warning: libcap will be installed before its systemd-libs dependency
warning: dependency cycle detected:
warning: lib32-harfbuzz will be installed before its lib32-freetype2 dependency

But doubt they caused the issue

I tried a couple thing swith the help of mr GPT, and can confirm the usb link was seen by using lsusb, but after resetting with timeshift I noticed ip link did not return enp10s0f3u3 (when it was broken) like it is doing now, just lo and enp7s0. I can also confirm my phone said USB tethering has started once I plugged it into my system both before, during and after the issue.

I also don’t think I see anything related on the https://archlinux.org latest news section, so possibly still undetected or related to something on my system?

But yeah, it will hopefully be fixed when I update again next week, maybe this is simply a warning to others that they may experience internet issues if they update today?
