Recently got this new laptop from a PC Specialists
unfortunately the keyboard inst responding at all. on any distro or desktop environment
Have you installed this? Bios upgrade may not be necessary.

Yeah I did try that but it didn’t seem to work, and yeah i did reboot after installation 
what’s really weird is that it did work a couple of months ago on the last edition of endeavour.
Also i would like to apologies as i have not been on to reply, i have been busy
