Installing i3 or bspwm

I couldnt download the ISO to wo4k with BSPWM, so i just chose Cinnamon. Which is fine but now how do i add a WM. Ran pacman -S i3 and it was telling me i need root…on a laptop…lol

Nevermind…running now…never put sudo command in …duhhhh
